A storyteller first, Flynn Wilder Faye is a trans folk singer-songwriter from Santa Cruz currently in Brooklyn, NY. His style has been described as indie-folk, with a focus on theatrical narrative.
Most known for writing Catching Fireflies: A New Queer Musical, Flynn uses elements of climactic storytelling and narrative-driven plot in his solo career to capture listeners, taking them on journeys from far off fantastical places to simple ferry rides along the Hudson. Exploration of gender and sexuality are at the forefront of his work, as a means to encourage a more liberated and authentic sense of self in audiences.
You can also find him streaming “Rat Chat” 3-5 nights a week on TikTok, a safe hang out space for all, especially including LGBTQ+ folks. With over 32k followers on his page, Flynn has cultivated a dedicated following with long-time viewers and listeners.
